About Next Generation Pediatric Urgent Care
We are a new, independent pediatric urgent care clinic in Bergenfield, NJ, specializing in evaluating illnesses and injuries in patients up to twenty-six years of age. We opened our doors on November 24, 2021, following our ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Amatorio and members of the Borough Council.
Our clinic is 100% pediatrician-owned and operated. Families can feel confident that they will be seen by a pediatrician with extensive pediatric emergency experience each time they come to our center for treatment. We specialize in caring for children and young adults.
We have patients visiting us from across Bergenfield, Tenafly, Teaneck, Englewood, Dumont, River Edge, Cresskill, and Fort Lee. Individuals also come from Hackensack, Closter, Alpine Demarest, New Milford, Englewood Cliffs, Linwood, Ridgefield Park, Leonia, Bogota, Haworth, and Norwood.
We are open seven days a week and three-hundred and sixty-five days of the year.
The Next Generation Pediatric Urgent Care Difference
Children deserve Pediatric care. You have the comfort of knowing that we are open until 10 pm daily, and we always have a doctor in house, and that doctor is a very experienced pediatrician. Our patients also appreciate our spacious rooms that can comfortably accommodate even large families. Our goal is to keep people comfortable and keep the family together, throughout the visit. Even our procedure rooms are uniquely designed around kids and a family’s comfort. Our mobile digital x-ray equipment is the same high end equipment that you would find in a state of the Art Pediatric Emergency Room, and our rooms are shielded with lead-free material with children’s safety in mind.
High quality, “less uncomfortable” Covid testing is something that we strive to offer. We have access to four different types of covid testing (including “Rapid PCR,” “Rapid Molecular NAAT,” and “Rapid Antigen”) but we focus on providing exceptional service with state-of-the-Art PCR results that are usually available the next day, that will be covered by your insurance. We have chosen these tests in order to offer you the accuracy and relative comfort you demand for your child during the pandemic.
We have built this center, from the ground up, in the bustling Foster Village Shopping Plaza, with the goal of bringing our group’s vast pediatric experience to serve your family’s needs. It has been gratifying to bring together a very talented group of doctors and clinic staff and have some early success in this vibrant community. Our goal is to grow with our patients’ needs, and to adapt to meet those needs. We have already had to rapidly adapt to the recent Covid surge, as well as Covid-19 affecting our own staff and our families. Hopefully, as things settle, as spring 2022 gets under way, we will be able to focus more on the other aspects of Pediatric Urgent Care, including sports injuries, concussion care, cuts and scrapes, etc.
Other goals that we hope to focus on as omicron gives us a break: recycling as much waste as possible, offering “virtual medicine” visits, offering Rapid PCR testing for Travel, building our patient portal, adding more insurance plans to our list, offering resources to local youth organizations.
